CHEC offers $25 bill credits to members who purchase qualifying ENERGY STAR® appliances for their Hatteras Island home. By purchasing appliances that have earned the ENERGY STAR®, you can save up to $75 a year in energy costs, while saving the environment. Rebates will be issued for qualifying:

• Clothes washers
• Electric dryers
• Refrigerators
• Freezers
• Dishwashers
