We have several system maintenance projects scheduled for the fall and winter including hardening of transmission infrastructure between Buxton and Avon, and in north Buxton along Cape Creek. Our contractor, Linetec Services, has started staging equipment next to the Fessenden Center and has laid matting down in the area of Canadian Hole and Kite Point. If there are any lane closures or traffic delays necessary for these projects, we will post notice as soon as possible.

Also, River City Construction has returned to the island to complete pole replacements and reconductoring in Avon. They will require lane closures on Highway 12 in Avon while transmission poles are offloaded beginning Wednesday 11/5 and continuing on Thursday 11/6, Monday 11/10 and Tuesday 11/11. On these dates, drivers can expect delays up to 15 minutes long between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
